I am a wife to an avid golfer and great supporter of my work schedule.  I am also a mother of two and step-mother to five grown children, A very happy grandmother to one grandson and one granddaughter, 12 step grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.

My son, Ron, is a full time Army man who is proudly serving our county. He and his wife are learning the real estate and loving being new parents. Granddaughter Abbeagail is patiently waiting her daddy's return from Iraq and is allowing grandma to come and spoil here as often as I can.

My daughter, Christina, is living in Conway and is a nursing assistant for Hospice.  I am enjoying having my six year old grandson close at hand to spoil and teach how to become a real estate agent. Mathew has learned to hold out grandma's business card to people and say "Please call my grandma and buy a house". I may have to start paying him for his marketing skills soon!

My step-children - Leah, Sherry, Sheila, Max and Leo are spread out all over the United States and we get to see them but not as often as we would like.

Having been involved in the real estate industry as a buyer and seller of fixer upper homes for the past 30 years I decided to become a real estate agent. Since receiving my South Carolina real estate license in July of 2005 I have successfully completed many transactions as buyer’s agent, seller’s agent and dual agent since then.

I have been active in the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors serving on the Hospitality Committee, Grievance Committee RPAC and Legislative Committees. I am a 2006 graduate of the CCAR Leadership Development Training Program and will offer continued service to not only the CCAR but the SCAR in various committees over the upcoming years.  I am excited that I am a State Director to the South Carolina Association of Realtors, a local director for the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors, Hospitality Committee Chairperson and have been selected to serve on the State Assocation Leadership Training 2008.  In March of 2007 I was awarded the Realtor Image award by the assocation of Realtors and appreciate the faith that they have in me.

I have completed my CRS, GRI, ABR and e-Pro designations and I am working on obtaining my broker's license this year. I am a true believer that good knowledge of my profession is essential so that I can offer my clients and customers good quality service and have firm foundation for my business.  I also currently perform Broker Price Opinions for a number of banks and asset management companies which gives me an ongoing education and listings of foreclosure and bank owned properties.

In addition to learning the real estate business over the years, I was employed at OST Trucks and Cranes, in Ventura CA, in the marketing and sales department and then as the finance controller and IT manager. I also learned duct design, equipment selection, and blue print reading during the years I worked for Bay Area Air Conditioning in Crystal River, FL as estimator and construction supervisor. I feel very comfortable not only in resale properties but also new construction homes.

In 2005 I felt the need to move to be closer to my grown children and grandchildren so we chose the Conway area. I felt the real estate industry would be a good business to become involved in and I chose to work with Barbara as I liked the idea of offering individualized service to people looking for their new home or investment property.

I look forward to continued growth in the real estate industry and willingly offer my help in the growth of HorryCounty itself in today’s new and exciting changes. I am a member of the Christ Community Church located in Conway and will strive to work more in the needs of the church and my community throughout the upcoming months as time permits.

It is also my intent to offer my customers and clients the individualized service they desire.
